BISHOP MACK PREPARATORY SCHOOL
2024 – 2025
SCHOOL SUPPLIES

August brings a new year and a new start, and what better way to do that than with new pencils, crayons, markers, pens, and paper! Part of every child’s delight is going shopping together with their for-school supplies together. It’s a great opportunity for parents and students to share the excitement of a new school year. It really helps set the right tone and motivates them with an “I’m going to try my very best” attitude”. Below you will find lists of school supplies for the year by grade level and/or subject area…and remember…. When it comes to school supplies, teachers say, don’t waste your money on feather pencils, light-up pencil sharpeners, or pretty erasers that don’t work. And for organizational helpers, keep in mind that expensive folders with multiple pockets and zippers are often too bulky to fit in desks. Better to stick with more streamlined (and cheaper) models

How Can You Help Even More?

Every year, parents ask how they can help out at the school. This year is no exception – several parents have already approached us, sharing their interest in helping the school provide addition classroom supplies for the year. Their message, which always makes us proud of our parents, is… “I know that my child will be getting the best the school has to offer, but I also want to help our school and our kids any way I can.”

We Are In This Together

Buying extra school supplies for general use in the classroom is one of the many ways parents help our teachers out, and they appreciate it!.

Take a look at the suggested supply lists. There are a number of items on this list such as copy paper, lined paper, markers, crayons, tissues, storage boxes, etc., that if you were to take the time to go out and purchase a few extra of the same items, would really help out all the students in our classrooms and remember – we will give you a donation receipt that you can use as a tax deduction.

If you are not able to get anything extra beyond the basic supplies from the list, don’t worry. We ppreciate parents getting involved. However, be assured that every child will be provided with the very best level of education possible.

BMPS Appreciates the Support of our Families and Our Community.
